Top 50 Social Media Power Influencers, 2013

Who knows how to leverage Social Media to promote a business? If it’s anyone, it’s Forbes’ Top 50 Social Media Power Influencers.

  • So what do all these influencers have in common?
  • What is their secret weapon?
  • What is the one thing they’re using that gives them the edge?

It’s not Facebook, everyone’s on Facebook. And it’s not Twitter, everyone’s on Twitter. Pinterest? Nah…

The Influencer Factory

Twenty out of fifty Forbes’ top influencers are on Triberr.

But not all are on Triberr. Several of those influencers are so big they don’t need any help from anyone, much less from Triberr. I’m talking about guys like Gary Vee and Chris Brogan.

And some folks who are on the Forbes’ list are not bloggers. Jonathan Naferrete and Laura Fitton are Instagram and Twitter experts respectively.

So if we remove outliers from the list -as it’s commonly done when doing statistical analysis-, and if we remove non-bloggers, we’re left with half of the top influencers who are using Triberr.

A keen scientific intellect will notice that this merely proves a correlation, and not a causation.

So, does Triberr make you an influencer? Let’s ask the influencers themselves:

Let’s ask Lilach Bullock, number 30 on Forbes’ list:

lilach bullock Triberr is one of the coolest and my number one favourite community of bloggers.  Triberr is more than a platform to share content it’s also an amazing place to connect and network with like minded bloggers.

Not only have I generated a ridiculous amount of traffic back to my site but also have created some wonderful relationships with some very cool people.

~Lilach Bullock

Lori Ruff, the number 19 on the list had this to say:

Within 6 weeks of joining Triberr and actively joining new tribemates in posting and sharing content, I was stunned to have more than 3,000 unique visitors to each blog I published.

Almost two years in, we have a loyal following of SuperFans, are taking advantage of “Prime” tools, and share it with clients as an essential resource for their own blog marketing and community building. Thanks Triberr!”

~Lori Ruff

Here’s what Jessica Northey, number 3 on Forbes’ list had to say about Triberr:

Jessica Northey I joined Triberr over 2 years ago and my story is a good one. Blog traffic increased 200% within 2 months. 1000% a year later.

Retweets on blog posts quadrupled from Triberr content and I connected with some of the most amazing people in my life to this day!

~ Jessica Northey

Lori Taylor, number 39 on the list, had this to say:

I thought Triberr was genius.

I made some of the best and most loyal friends online because of Triberr. I read posts I might miss just because they aren’t at the usual places. And that makes me happy because nothing is more boring than sharing the same thing 4789 other people have shared.

The integrity if the system is important and Dino (the Founder ) has a hands on approach that I don’t believe many companies are committed to anymore. He’s all walk – wink.

~Lori Taylor

Pam Moore, number 10 on the list, shared these few thoughts:

Triberr connected me to many new bloggers, content sources, business partners, and friends I would have never had the blessing of knowing and doing business with, had Dino and Dan not decided to implement their awesome strategy drawn on the back of a Dunnkin Donuts napkin!

Triberr is the awesome social sauce no blogger should go without.

~Pam Moore

Ted Rubin, number 13 and the author of Return on Relationship, had this to say:

Triberr has been my syndication secret weapon, but I don’t keep it a secret, and I tell everyone about it.

A rare example of a platform that over-delivers and drives Return on Relationship.

~Ted Rubin

But That’s Not All

While I am a proud father of the best social network for bloggers and I don’t mind yelling it from the rooftops, becoming a top influencer requires more than joining Triberr.

All these bloggers have started from a solid base, great content, and no ads.

Call me crazy, but I have this feeling that as the ads on any blog increase, the influence of the blogger goes down. It’s just a theory. :-)

So, in conclusion, and the whole point of this particular post, is to say that if you’re a blogger, you need to be on Triberr. See ya there.
